I recently joined the Premier Real Estate team for a private reception at the sales gallery of the highly anticipated Circa luxury apartment towers currently under construction at 1200 Figueroa St. in South Park. Holding its own next to the massive Oceanwide Plaza mixed-use complex that is also nearing completion, together these two large developments are adding heft to DTLA's South Park skyline.

Overflowing with amenities like concierge service, a chef's kitchen with a private dining area, and a two-acre rooftop park with a 75' lap pool and poolside cabanas, according to marketing materials the residences will feature sleek, high-end finishes including:

  • 9 1/2' ceiling heights

  • dramatic floor to ceiling windows

  • private balconies

  • custom European cabinetry with integrated LED lighting

  • marble bathroom floors

  • stainless steel appliances and raw oak cabinets in the kitchen

  • oak, plank-style hardwood flooring throughout

  • walk in closets with custom storage

  • stone floors in the glass enclosed showers

  • Bosch washer and dryers

  • Nest SmartHome Thermostats

  • Keyless entry system

From Urbanize LA:

With its first move-ins anticipated in September, the team behind South Park's two-tower Circa development has opened up a leasing office in Downtown Los Angeles.

The leasing office, located at 1201 S. Grand Avenue, sits two blocks east of the twin 35-story buildings at 12th and Figueroa Streets. The project will offer 648 apartments above a podium featuring 48,000 square feet of commercial space and parking.

The mix of traditional apartments and penthouse units range between 600 and 4,000 square feet in size, with monthly rents between $3,000 and $24,000. Residents will have access to a two-acre amenity deck, including a swimming pool, a fitness center, two dog parks, and a cycling studio.

The development team includes construction manager AECOM Tishman, lead architect Harley Ellis Devereaux, and interior architect HansonLA.

Other tower developments underway nearby include Onni Groups Hope + Flower development opposite Pico Station, and the three-building Oceanwide Plaza complex north across 12th Street.
