Christopher Johnson

Christopher Johnson (@ChrisJNLA) strives to provide the highest levels of service, integrity and knowledge to his clients to help make the residential home buying, selling and leasing process as smooth as possible.   As one who is passionate about all aspects of residential property—from analyzing industry trends to staying on top of the latest innovations in interior design, landscaping, property marketing and sales—Christopher brings over 20 years of marketing, public relations, events and political experience to each personalized interaction with his clients.

Raised in Atlanta, GA and a graduate of Westlake High School's math-science magnet program, Christopher has always nurtured a strong interest in architecture, interior design, pop culture and politics.  

Following graduating from Duke University in 2001 with a BA in Sociology, Christopher launched his public relations career in the Atlanta office of Manning, Selvage & Lee (MS&L) before shifting to politics to serve in the press office of the Democratic Party of Georgia. 

In 2003, he moved to Washington, DC to open the first congressional office of the newly-elected Congressman David Scott (GA-13) after being one of the campaign's first volunteers. He then rose to become deputy press secretary before being tapped to be communications director for Congressman Melvin Watt (NC-12), chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) at the time.  

In 2007, Christopher was named director of public affairs and interactive communications at the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBT rights group, where he help set the advocacy organization's digital communications strategies and launched the organization's first blog. 

Relocating to Los Angeles in 2011, Christopher would go on to lead communications and marketing for the Venice Art Walk & Architecture Tours, an annual fundraiser to raise money for Venice Family Clinic in Venice, CA. 

Prior to launching his full-time career in real estate, Christopher served as associate director of communications for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the world's largest HIV/AIDS organization and local homeless and low-income housing advocate.

Christopher is currently a luxury loft and condo specialist with Premier Real Estate under the leadership of broker Rasmus Ray Lee, headquartered in South Park, one of the most affluent and in-demand neighborhoods in downtown Los Angeles (DTLA).

He is a member of the Malibu Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
